Side effects of Ketoconazole
■ Seek emergency medical intervention should you notice any symptoms of allergic reaction. These could include hives; swelling of the throat, lips, face and tongue; and difficulty in breathing.
■ Other severe side effects of the drug include fainting, dizziness, pounding and/or heartbeat; easy bleeding or bruising, unusual weakness; a tingly or numb feeling; confusion, severe depression and/or thoughts about hurting yourself; stomach pain, nausea, low fever, weakness, loss of appetite, passing dark colored urine or clay colored stools and/or jaundice i.e. yellowness of the eye and skin.
■ Less serious or common side effects of the drug include vomiting, mild nausea, or stomach pain; skin rash or mild itching; dizziness or headache; swelling of the breasts, loss of interest in having sex and/or impotence.
